During the last couple of weeks I tried several RapidWeaver templates, finally settling on one titled side show. I changed the banner to one of my old photos, and off we go. Check back on a regular basis as I continue to build this site.

The Newbury Park Scocer Club Alliance won the Conejo Valley United tournament U16B bracket yesterday. The NPSC Alliance went 2-1 in the prelim games and then won the final 1-0. Nick Harrison scored the only goal in the finals match against FCI United of Diamond Bar. FCI United had beaten the Alliance 2-1 in a prelim game on Saturday.

Photo Tech: Most daytime soccer photos shot with Canon D20 set on RAW + JPG with 300mm f/4 lens. ISO 200, shutter priority 1/1250th sec or higher to keep aperture open for shallow depth of field. I usually use a monopod.

The U16B NPSC Alliance won the 2007 Chivas Simi Valley Invitational Cup with a 2-0-1 record. The tie was against Apex Boys 90 Futbolistas. Nick Harrison had a good weekend with three goals - one in each game. Scores were 2-0, 1-1, 2-1.

Welcome to the new Harrysonpics.com website. I found the domain name available and grabbed it. The downside is learning new software. I am using RapidWeaver and Photoshop Lighroom.

My old site at Earthlink was fun and easy to put up. But the web software Earthlink has is dated. Time to move on.
