Aug. 22, 2017: Fifteen-foot tall busts of Presidents John Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and George W. Bush sit alongside a highway near Hermosa, South Dakota. These three sculptures by artist David Adickes were once part of an outdoor park museum in Lead, South Dakota. The park closed and the heads scattered. Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt reportedly are in North Dakota. A similar park with 43 Presidential busts in Virginia failed in 2010. I took these portraits with the iPhone Hipstamatic app.
