Happy Easter!

April 3, 2021: "Happy Easter," - the photo says so - from "Venti," a Conejo Valley Cottontail located in front of the Best Western Plus Thousand Oaks Inn. The five-foot six-inch sculpture by artist John Galan reflects on the history of the Conejo Valley.

Conejo Cottontails is a Thousand Oaks Civic public art project. About 20 five-foot six-inch fiberglass sculptures by Cate Hartenstein are located around the community. Each Cottontail is individually painted by local artists and sponsored by local businesses, organizations and individuals.
