Jan. 6, 2017: Palm Springs Air Museum’s T-28 Trojan Trainer does a fly-by at the Palm Springs Airport. North American Aviation built over 1900 of these trainers in the 1950s.
For this version, I started with the Brushstrokes application using the W4 preset. I then added texture with the Bella preset in the DistressedFX app. I finished in the Formulas app using the dry ice preset at 45% and worn map border. May 9, 2019: Harvey, a 26-foot-tall rabbit man in Aloha, Oregon. When I travel, I use the Roadside American iOS app to located unusual attractions to photograph. The app led me to this Mullfler-Man style sign sits in front of Harvey Marine company.

Last night I attending the opening night of the Nights of the Jack Halloween Show at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas. The half-mile trail features endless lighted displays of jack o'lanterns and related Halloween themed displays. Great event! Really worth a visit. Also it's 25% off this weekend.
At the end of the evening I found myself watching artist Roberto Velasco carving a pumpkin. He placed the face of actor Joaquin Phoenix from the movie "Joker" on a pumpkin. Here's a link to my flickr gallery: 2019 Nights of the Jack. |
