Faded sign in Los Olives for Toretti Wine Tasting taken yesterday. I had the chance to go for a drive and took it, stopping in Los Olives and later in Lompoc. Toretti Family Vineyard produces 750 cases a year of their Pinot Noir.

Aug. 19, 2017: Restored Selz Royal Blue mural in Chadron, Nebraska. Selz Shoes was a Chicago area shoe brand founded by Morris Selz in 1871. Faded Selz Shoe murals are still visible on many old buildings in the Midwest. I found this mural in an alley painted on a two-story building currently housing the Fryday's 120 Bar and Grill.
September 29, 2016: Big Miner and Burro at auto sales lot in Albany, Oregon. Businessman Steve Fletcher, an owner of a spray foam business, created this foam sculpture and others in the Albany area. Also, he lives in a spray foam volcano house.
November 1986: Actor Michael Parris Newman portrays Howard Hughes in a one-person, two-act musical in Los Angeles. He posed for me next to a retired Lockheed Constellation aircraft at Camarillo Airport.
On October 3, 2016, visitors tour the Maryhill, Washington, Stonehenge replica that occupies a hill overlooking the Columbia River. The Maryhill Stonehenge is a full-size replica of the original Stonehenge located in England. Construction of this replica by businessman Sam Hill began in 1918 and finished in 1929. The Maryhill Stonehenge is a monument to local soldiers killed in World War I. Unlike the original Stonehenge; this one's made with reinforced concrete.
April 1992: Long exposure of Chief White Eagle statue and old Agoura taken at dusk. In the bottom center is the intersection of Lewis Road and Agoura Road. In the background is the Ventura Freeway. Jean de Strelecki built the 14-foot-tall, 13-ton concrete statue in 1939.
May 17, 2020: Matilija Poppies at the Conejo Valley Botanic Gardens photographed through a lens ball. Today was my first excursion with the lens ball since the lockdown began. Yea!
Feb. 12, 1992: Rescue workers search the Ventura River looking for victims of sudden flooding at the Ventura Beach RV Resort. The rapidly rising river swept away about 30 RVs. The rising water also closed the Ventura Freeway.
May 13, 2020: Bicyclist on the footbridge connecting the Thousand Oaks Library to Conejo Creek North Park in Thousand Oaks, California. I used the SoSo Camera app on the iPhone to make this image. Initially, I tried a four by two grid for this image but cropped out the left two squares.
This morning during my walk, I found the low clouds and the Kimber Park Playground very interesting. Here's my monochrome version after playing with Lightroom sliders and Instagram Inkwell preset.
