May 10, 2017: Clouds draped over mountains on the west side of the Alaskan Inside Passage south of Juneau. The 500-mile route allows ships to avoid bad weather in the open Pacific Ocean.
Jetliner heading to Los Angeles International Airport passes in front of the nearly full moon over Whittier Sunday night. The informal photography group, the Lunartics, gathered for another evening of aircraft and moon photography. Monday night's full moon is named the Full Worn Moon. According to the Farmers Almanac, other March names include Crow Moon, Crust Moon, Sup Moon, and the Lenten Moon.

Leaves 2019: For this textured image, I started with a 2019 picture of two leaves. Then I made two versions in Distressed FX Plus. Next, I combined the two versions in Blender in normal mode. I finished with RipPix preset number six.
May 13, 2017: Homes in Ketchikan, Alaska, are located on a narrow stretch of land between the waterfront and the 3,000 foot Deer Mountain in background. Founded in 1885, Ketchikan currently has 8,000 residents.
